Are psychics who use cards, and such, really the real thing?
Some people believe that people who use tools are not connected intuitively. There are psychics who don't use tools and claim that they're the real thing and those who use tools are not.
I wanted to cover this because I can tell you from experience, having known many who are both intuitive and use tools, that tools are not only used as symbols of interpretation, but can spark the intuition as they read.
Back in ancient times, the Greeks would visit Delphi, wherein one of their intuitives would gaze into the water and say what they see. Nostradamus himself used a blacked out mirror upon which to gaze. What happens in the process of gazing, is that the focus can be like a mini trance, which caused the focus to deepen and bring forth images, words, feeling and knowing for the sake of the client.
I believe that all people have some form of Intuitive gifting, and some are more developed than others, from those that have a hunch, to those who can see a deceased relative, it is the same, but with one more developed than the other. In no way is one's intuition compromised because of tool interpretation, in fact after a while it can be heightened.
What will be noticed is that for someone who is fully underdeveloped when gazing, that they see or sense little to nothing. It doesn't mean they can't develop themselves via meditation which is the best way to grow one's psychic gifts, but it does mean you should probably keep your day job.
Will using tools effect one's accuracy? Only if not also attuning to one's intuition. Why do psychics use tools? Well I can tell you why I do, and I usually channel first, and then use cards because it will take the stress off, and give myself a rest before the next question or session, and if you are doing this for hours, it can be very depleting. I also love using cards as part of an integrative reading, because I love the symbols and they are very beautiful artistically to use.
